As I have recently worked on a project in Azraq Refugee Camp in Jordan, I became more and more aware of my untroubled life in the Netherlands. Never have I ever encountered things as famine, unsecurity, aggression, shortages, occupations or war. Things which happen to be of a regularity in the lives of millions of people who are seeking refuge today.

In collaboration with my friends of Act of Benevolence I imagined 'Country Code', a collection of 3 posters each portraying 3 different countries which have been struck by immense adversity: Lebanon, Palestine and Yemen.
Taking inspiration from a countries' national flag, typically defining the nation it represents via a color code, 'Country Code' defines a country on the basis of it's undisguised landscape, carefully exposing their specific terrain through several thousand lines resulting in a play of color and form.

Each poster is EUR 21,75 (incl. shipping). All prints are limited to 25 copies and will be numbered.
100% of the profits will be equally divided over good causes in Palestine, Lebanon and Yemen.
